Luxury

Luxury is a Boku No Hero Academia zine based around the aesthetic of lingerie. A NSFW fashion orientated zine, we want to showcase some elegant and erotic clothing with characters we love.For those whose tastes are a little more self-indulgent, Hedonism, our erotic PDF Add-On will explore the sensuality and smut of lingerie.Within this zine we want to showcase our love for BNHA and create a wonderful project everyone is proud to have taken part in!

Note: There will be a seasonal break starting December 20th, 2023 and ending January 3rd, 2024

What is a zine?A zine (pronounced like a shortened form of “magazine”) is a collection of artwork and fanfiction, brought together in one collected work. It is a fan project where people who enjoy the piece of media the zine is focused on can create work based on the series!What are the zine specifications?- NSFW (aesthetic/ fashion focus) with an Erotic NSFW PDF add-on
- Will feature ships.Will this zine be for profit or charity?The zine will be for-profit and will be physical with physical merch!Are AUs allowed?Yes, AUs as well as canon-compliant material are welcome.Are spoilers allowed?Spoilers will be allowed.How will contributors be compensated?This will once again depend on the results of our interest checks. We will compensate contributors with at least a free PDF of our zine. If sales progress and we can provide free copies of the zine to each contributor, that will be our next goal.Who is allowed to apply?This is a NSFW project and you must be 18 years or older to participate in this zine.What will not be allowed in the main zine?The main zine is focused on the aesthetic and fashion of lingerie. There is an inherent NSFW aspect to lingerie but we will not allow;
- explicit sexual acts in the main zine.

-Non-Con/RapeWhy is Underage not allowed?Underage content will not be allowed in the zine due to the legal restrictions in place for some mods in their respective countries.Will I require a Discord to participate?Discord is our key method of communication. If you do not have a Discord account and wish to participate, you will be expected to create one.Do I need previous zine experience to apply?Absolutely not! Everyone starts somewhere, and we welcome newcomers to apply.Can I apply for more than one position?Yes, you’re more than welcome to apply for more than one position, provided you’re confident you can handle the increased workload.What kind of merch will the zine have?If we are lucky enough to go physical, we would like a mix of physical and digital merch

-Non-Con/RapeThank you!Art Contributor Guidelines/ExpectationsPage Artist:- Page Artists are required to complete 1 full page piece of art for this zine.
- We will be offering the opportunity to create more pages/spreads for interested participants.Spot Artist:- Spot Artists will be expected to create 2-3 smaller spot illustrations in collaboration with one of our Writing Contributors.- Spot Artists may also have the opportunity to create spot illustrations for more than one fic, or to create a full page illustration.Comic Artist:-Comic Artists will be expected to make one comic in full colour.-The comic will be 2-4 pages. The length is up to the creator’s discretion.Merch Artists:Digital Merch:- Digital Merch Artists will be expected to create 2-3 pieces of digital merch, including Discord emote packs, wallpapers for phone and computer, icons, digital colouring pages and printable merch, etc.Physical Merch:- Physical Merch Artists will be expected to create 2-3 pieces of physical merch, including bookmarks, stickers, art prints, sticker sheets, heart button, acrylic pin, 2.5" keychain (single/double sided), bubble keychain, etcArt Application GuidelinesAs an Art Applicant for ‘Luxury’, your work will be judged on your knowledge of anatomy, perspective, composition, colour theory, and personal style.Please choose examples you feel best reflect the kind of artwork you would like to make for our zine!Remember, you must be over 18 to apply to ‘Luxury’.Portfolio requirement for Page Artists/Spot Artists.
- 3 art pieces showcasing the best of your artistic abilities.- If applying for a position as an NSFW creator, at least one sample must be NSFW- At least 1 art piece must have a complete background, full shading, and colouring.-At least one of your pieces must feature a character from BNHA.Portfolio requirement for Comic Artists.- Comic artists will be expected to include one or more pages of previous comics in their application, but full page illustrations will also be considered.- If applying for a position as an NSFW creator, at least one sample must be NSFW.- At least one sample must feature a character from BNHA.Portfolio requirement for Merch Artists.- At least one sample must feature a character from BNHA- Merch-specific art is highly encouraged, but it is not necessary.Portfolio links are welcome. Carrd and Google Drive are preferred.We will not accept portfolio accounts on Pixiv, if they are locked for 18+ content.Please note that Mods will not choose applicants based on external factors like follower counts.GuidelinesWriting Contributor Guidelines/ExpectationsAs a Writer Applicant for ‘Luxury’, your work will be judged on your grammar, flow, ability to tell a story within a given word limit, characterisation, and general writing style.Please choose examples you feel best reflect the kind of fic you would like to make for our zine!- Writers will be expected to create 1-2 pieces for this zine, each 2-3k words.- Writers may have the opportunity to collaborate with another writer or artist.- Fics created MUST be centered around BNHA.Writer Application GuidelinesRemember, you must be over 18 to apply to ‘Luxury!’.- Writer Applicants must provide three samples of their writing. For each sample, the word count will be 2k-3k.- One fic sample must be NSFW. The fics for the main zine may explore erotisim and sensuality found in lingerie, but do not need to be NSFW pieces.- At least one sample must feature a character from BNHA- If any of your samples are SFW but still contain potentially triggering or mature topics, please make sure that they contain visible tags.- NSFW content must be tagged and with visible content warningsPortfolio links are welcome.
